The Royal College of Midwives has conducted a survey of new mothers and found that four out of ten women had nine or more midwives.We found this an amazing statistic as building up a relationship wit your midwife can make life so much easier and less stressful especially for a first time mum, so we were saddened to hear about this.But worse was to follow, on fifth of new mums are left alone during labour which is against guidelines and common sense.
